My Head is Round (a spoof on the Beach Boys "I Get Around"
Michael had the great opportunity of playing in a band recently. A few guys from the ward put together a band and performed for the ward Christmas party. Michael is the guy on the far left with the black and white guitar. He does all the guitar solos. He thought it would be funny to wear a fun winter cap while he played... :)

Adoption Yard Sale
JK's cousin and his wife are in the process of trying to adopt. They are trying to spread the word to find a family out there that is right for them. Becky asked me if I would post this information about an adoption Yard sale they are doing. Please pass on the word!!!
We are looking for prospective adoptive couples in the Salt Lake Valley to join us in hosting a Yard Sale like no other! We want to spread the word and get as many couples to participate as possible! Contact us at jnbterryfamily at yahoo dot com and bring your pass along cards to the event!
If any of you read Mrs. R's blog you will understand! Last summer she participated in an adoption yard sale with other couples and I hear the donations and succes were amazing!
What did they do?
They put their adoption website on all the price tag stickers,
had profiles and pass-along cards available and made money for their adoption.
FOR THOSE OF US SEEKING TO GROW OUR FAMILIES THROUGH THE MIRACLE OF ADOPTION - THERE IS ONE IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER. IT COST A LOT OF MONEY TO ADOPT.

all the couples involved with the event are going to try and raise some money for each of their adoptions. We have the space to host the biggest yard sale ever! We have been asking for and taking donations in advance so we have enough to hold a huge sale! We have also had people ask if they could donate their baked goods! We could definitely use the treats!
Speaking of treats - I have a dozen finely made cuppy cakes to the highest bidder made by these amazing people!

HOW:
THIS IS WHERE WE NEED YOUR HELP.
If you are cleaning and weeding out... and you live in Utah... donate your stuff to our yard sale.
We will even come and pick it up for you. If we don't sell it, we will take it to DI. If you don't have anything to donate - Help spread the word! Post this on your blog or send it to your friends who might be willing to donate in an email.
IF YOU DON'T LIVE IN UTAH
Send US your stuff and we will reimburse your shipping costs! What an awesome way to help out and clean your house at the same time!

furniture. clothes. DVDs. baby stuff. scrapbooking supplies. dishes and kitchen items. frames. books. toys. home decor.
So far we have camera equipment. two canon film cameras. a digital camera (from a soldier in Iraq!) memory cards (CF and SD) baby girl clothes from age 3 months to 18 months. and more...
Donation of services is also welcomed. If you have talent in any field and want to donate your talents to our yard sale, please let me know what you can donate and send me a pic of the sample product! that way we can showcase your items as well!
